The Northerns "Blues" Hockey Association (the NBHA) represents the sport of field hockey primarily in the greater Tshwane (Pretoria) area, but also stretching as far afield as Brits, Rustenburg and Potchefstroom in the west and Witbank and Secunda in the east.

Here in Northerns we play hockey from very young all the way up to masters level.  We have "social" teams and highly competitive teams.  Our representative provincial teams - from under 12 to senior - are regulars in the semi-finals or finals of interprovincial tournaments and we've had players on national teams for many, many years.  Our umpires and technical officials feature very prominently on national and international stages, including our President, John Wright, who has officiated at World Cup and Olympic Games finals.

We truly have something for everyone - please follow the links in the menu above for more information on who we are and what we do.
